Outings and activities

Social inclusion means getting our service users out into the local community, and we put together a packed programme of events to allow those who attend Blue Cedars to interact, safely and under guidance, with the wider world around us.

This can mean some very special events, such as when we took a party out to the local fire station. As can be seen from the photographs, we had a brilliant time and those who attended became firefighters themselves for a day - even handling the hoses and sitting in the fire engine. A real day to remember.

We also take groups out to everyday activities such as the cinema, bowling, museums, swimming, gardens and parks. All our community-based activities are fully staffed to the appropriate levels to ensure maximum enjoyment and safety for our service users.
